Community Engagement Core
MISSION
The Community Engagement Core’s mission is to foster communication and collaboration among environmental health scientists and diverse stakeholders on the role of environmental exposures in children’s health, and strategies to build healthier environments. Through academic-community partnerships, we communicate environmental health research findings to community members, and ensure environmental concerns that affect the community’s health, particularly in East Harlem and the South Bronx, guide the Center’s research.
